An original working WW2 US Navy boat clock.

This was made by Seth Thomas for the US Navy and was used on the small boats that were lowered from the larger ships. The backplate and mount were attached to the boat and the clock was issued from stores/bosun to the boat user.

The clock comprises several pieces - which are all present.

The mechanism is dated May 1944.

We have cleaned the bakelite case with a Bakelite polish and treated the wood.
